So Many Things

There are so many things I wish I could say to you
So many things I wish I could.
But for me to just come out and say it,
I really don't think it would be understood.

It's not a really simple thing, you see.
It's not something easily grasped.
Many people say you're no good for me,
And that it would never last.

It's difficult, but I feel differently
On this subject at hand.
If we've been this close for this long,
Who's to say we won't firmly stand.

I know it's rather stupid
For me to think this way.
But I can't stand not being near you.
It breaks my heart every day.

You are just too beautiful for words.
